WELCOME

The Sonography Program provides the student with academic study, laboratory and clinical experience. The Clinical experience will affiliate the students with facilities located within the five state region and beyond during the clinical ultrasound internship courses. Sonography students will receive comprehensive training the experience performing scanning procedures in abdominal, superficial structures, gynecological and obstetrical ultrasound. Diagnostic Medical Sonographers perform and analyze ultrasound images through the use of high frequency sound waves in a variety of medical settings. Upon completion of the program, graduates are elgible to take the national registry exams in Ultrasound Physics, Abdominal Ultrasound, and Obstetrical and Gynecologlical Ultrasound.
